My First Semester of College

Hello,

My name is Aubree Boyle and I am new to blogging! I’m excited to start this off by talking about my first semester in college. My first semester in college was crazy! It was very hard for me because I’m ten and a half hours away from home.This was an adjustment because I’ve never been so far away from all of my family. I was also so overwhelmed with school and track.

School was very hard for me at first, I had to learn how to get around campus and find my classes. I also had to work and study a lot harder then I did in high school. Track was also a lot harder. It’s a totally different level then high school track. We work 20 hours a week, practice everyday and lift 3 times a week. It was very challenging at first to balance both school and track, but I definitely have the hang of it now.

Overall, my first semester was a whirlwind. Trying to learn everything in only a couple months is very hard. College is meant to challenge you and push you to your limits, it definitely did it’s job. I’m very happy with where I am now and I’m moving on from my first semester. Can’t wait to see what this semester holds!
